I know it’s been a while since you’ve heard from us and we’re really sorry about that. It’s always been our intention to keep in touch with you as much as possible so that we can all reach our financial goals together. The best intentions however sometimes run into the ‘wall of life’ and get stopped … and that’s what’s happened to me.
Some of you may know that I’ve been having health challenges on and off over the last couple of years. Well, a few months ago things really got bad for me and during one of my frequent hospital visits the doctors found a tumor attached to my colon. It was the size of a softball! You can imagine my shock and fear.
God is good. however, and they were able to remove it. That was the good news.
The bad news … they also found ‘The Big C’, cancer. Not one type of cancer but two. As you can imagine, I was devastated. Since my diagnosis, I’ve been hospitalize three times with related problems and have been seeing more doctors than I knew existed in Summit County. : )
Anyone who knows me knows that I’m a fighter! I’m going to do everything in my power to bounce back and be the best coach, mother, wife, and servant of God that I can! It’s just going to take some time.
So why am I telling you all of this? It’s because I care about you. I am proud of you.
I love the fight that so many of you guys have. I have been getting tons of praise reports from many of you of accomplishing your goals of purchasing homes, starting businesses, building savings accounts, opening investment accounts, or simply going after your dreams. It makes me smile and remind me that the work we do is not in vain. Your prayers and love have been such an encouragement to me. Thank you! I truly care about you, your spouse, and your whole family.
I want to take this opportunity to encourage you to never stop fighting for your financial independence. Every day you’re in the fight! Every day you’re facing tough financial decisions that are impacting your financial future! When life pushes you, push back. Find inside of yourself greatness, hope, and tenacity!
Remember, I’m your coach; you’re the player. When that financial garbage truck hits you, ask yourself “What would Markeda coach me to do?” I need you to know I am still here for you, When you’ve got a problem, call me, text me, or email me and we’ll work out a game plan for you to overcome it. I may be down but I’m not out you guys!
Keep me in your thoughts. Keep me in your prayers. Most of all, keep fighting for your financial freedom!
